Looks good. :2vrolijk_21:

Now for the important questions.  Have you had a chance to put a few hours on it yet?  If so, how does it feel?

I've got +12,000 miles on Vanessa (SESG) with a C&C solo (non-gel) mounted. I've done several 500 mile day on this seat. I'm happy with it! Chuck recommended I pass on the gel. FWIW.

I have C&C solos on all three scooters

Dave didn't suggest the gel either....since it retains the heat when left in the sun, and since I live in NY, it will stay colder longer with the temp drops. Kind of like sitting on an ice pack.....

AirHawk all the way boys.  Use whatever seat you like and throw it on when you like.  Inflate to whatever firmness you like.  I absolutely love mine and use it on long rides.  Who cares what it looks like?  Throw it in saddlebag, take out and put on hot seat, you'll never feel the heat.  I've tried gel, air and extra foam, nothing beats the airhawk for me anyways.

Hey by the way the company that makes the AirHawk (Roho) also makes seats for wheelchairs and other comfort products based on the same principle.  I also bought a square seat for my office chair that I use everyday.  It is just plain awesome.  If you play online games or have an office job where you have to sit for long periods you have got to have one, you'll never go back.

It's the Roho LTV.  I got the fabric one but now they have a leather covered one.  They are not cheap but I wouldn't trade mine for anything.  Cool thing is about these moto and chair cushions, the valve pokes out in the back so you can let air out once you are sitting on it.  I inflate mine a bit, then put it on the bike/chair and sit on it, then let air out till it's about half empty.  That way the bladders inside can equally distribute my weight.  On the bike it takes a bit of experimentation to get it just right but man it is perfect since it eliminates pressure points.  Also the moto one has a nonslip back and a really comfortable top material.

Since I cracked my tailbone in my wreck I am really going to need it once I get back on the road.

ps.  I don't think the leather covered one will be nearly as cool as the fabric one for the bike since it lets air circulate inside around the bladders.  Since I got mine they have improved the material for the bladders to eliminate stretching too.

And one more thing:  If you get one for the bike get the one that is not the largest.  I found that the longer one of the two would make my balls go numb since it pushes up between your legs.  They also make a pillion sized one for the wifey.

I understand someone makes a seat now with AirHawk cushions insided the seat. Haven't seen one yet though. Maybe it's just a rumor.

I've got gel in my LePera bare bones solo.  It feels more firm than just foam but it seems to allow me longer time in the saddle than my stock seat did.  I've had it on for over 5000 miles and it shows no signs of sagging or collapsing.  As for the heat issue, I really can't tell the difference.  I'm very happy with it.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Mustang Seats in this thread. The Mustang Regal I have on my 95 E'Glide is the most comfortable seat on which I have ever sat. It feels like a rolling La-Z-Boy with the rider backrest...

Mike, how's the new seat doing?  I'm considering one for my bike.  I had the C&C solo on the 2010 SEUC (wish I hadn't let it go with the bike).  This time, I'm thinking about the rider backrest, as well.
