....but the MOCO has some restrictive warranty rules on 2009+ US bikes coming up from the US...or so I have been told by a dealer.....

I have the extended warranty and have had work done here.. They did say if it was under normal factory warranty I would have to take it to Buffalo Harley for work. The funny thing is, they are closer for me.

Colbach in Morristown TN, one of the local dealers, handed me a copy of CVO, regular release and the parts book when I walked in. They had a good stack of them. I thanked them and told them that I collected the catalogues. I'm going to SMHD this afternoon and will see if they are as willing to give them out. I told Kevin the salesman to hold one for me.

Was at my dealer today and i asked for one. I was told they only have one in the whole store. One of the biggest dealerships in Canada and only 1 brochure. I was told when they do come in they will put one aside for me.....I guess i am on the waiting list.... ;)

Did you have to put a deposit down too?   :D

My dealer didn't have any CVO brochures either, even after I bought the bike. I've looked on H-D's website and there doesn't appear to be any link for requesting a brochure. If anyone finds it, please post it!

I was at Cedar River HD in Charles City, Ia. where I bought my 09 RGSE and was just looking through, and Seth walked up to me and just handed me one. He said all the 12 CVO's were neat. I said thank you very much.

I went in to Mason City HD ( they are owned by the same brothers ) and Jack (sales man) asked me if I wanted a CVO Sales Brochure and I said that would be great.

I guess if a good HD dealer want to sell bikes, they will treat customers with respect. Other dealers are giving them away no questions asked.

I have an extra one,  if anyone would like one I will mail it free of charge. send PM

I was in Knoxville HD on Clinton Hwy two weeks ago talking with the salesman. We got talking about CVO's, he went to his office and got me a brochure.

There were piles of CVO catalogs at the HD factory area in Sturgis.

Would have picked up some extras if I knew how difficult they could be to obtain.

Of course they were for the 12s, I wonder if the Moco might have some 11 catalogs in a box somewhere - kind of interested to see how the model I just bought a few weeks ago was marketed.

For grins, I think I'll call cust svc next week just to see what the response is....

My dealer has them but is a little tight handing them out.. I asked him what the big deal was with these brochures, telling him i hear a lot of dealers dont even have them. He said he gets limited quantities each CVO season and that's all he gets. He said Harley dishes them out to the dealers based on their CVO sales quota, explaining some dealers dont even get CVO's hence no CVO brochures. He also said the CVO's are limited to dealers based on their overall sales too which may explain why some have more then another.

I dont think he is 'B' sing me,, he seems pretty up.   :nixweiss:

No, it's not the only one.  A long time ago when we used to live in Sioux City, IA, they wouldn't give me one either.  Before I ever worked there, Rochester Harley-Davidson would give them out like water if they had them still available for the year.  They still carry on the philosophy that if you have the catalog and a brochure...with them selling everything at MSRP, the more likely you are to buy a bike.

When I was in Sturgis I checked out the 2012 CVOs at the HD display. They had plenty of brochures there. I asked for one, then asked for another for my buddy, then the Harley rep asked if I wanted a few more, should have taken them I guess. I've been lucky enough to get a brochure ever since I bought my 09 SERG.

As a side note I saw CVO brochures for sale on ebay a few years ago starting at $20.00, Crazy eh??
