Got to ride my new scoot to work for the first time today. Lots of highway. All I can say is "Wow, what a difference!"  :2vrolijk_21: The bike just feels more solid at higher speeds. I'm shocked at how much different the frame mounted fairing feels. I've heard it from friends...and on forums...but until YOU experience it............. ;)

Add me to the list who got hooked by that color! Picked mine up a little over a week ago, traded my 09 SERG seems they made a little improvement on the 6th gear indicator light which I can now see even in the brightest of sun light. never had any problem with seeing at night but the brights seem a little better on this one. The Rio Red is amazing in the sun!!! think it might even be better that the Silver on the 09, I am gonna miss the eagle on the fairing though.

If you had the spun aluminum face gauges like I did on my 09 SEUC I can understand. I could NEVER see any of the icons for 6th gear, low fuel, etc...except at night. Not enough contrast between the silver face and the indicator colors.  :(

The first week is in the books. Put almost 400 miles on the new Road Glide Ultra. :o I think I found the bike that truly fits my needs.  :2vrolijk_21:

2 months & 4100 miles later & loving mine..I did do some modifications (cams,exhaust, tuner & 19' front wheel) working on making the tour pack quick release as my wife is really riding her deluxe finally!

I bought mine almost the same day as you, same color,never really liked the shark nose but instantly fell in love with It with the rio red. The way I stare at it makes the ol' lady mad...

Congrats Jerry!!!  Got mine the day after you got yours.  Waited 9 months to get the best deal.  Ended up with a used one, Charcoal Slate (wife's choice) with 3333 miles.  Came with Tallboys (I'm 6'3"), Cee Bailey (no buffeting), extended Tour-Pak (bsr loves it), Stage I mods & V&H pipes (I love it) and some Pia lights attached to the forks down by the front axle (great at night, lots of light).  Going in for 5K service this weekend.  Like you, it's a daily commuter.  Getting about 200-225 mile to a tank.  Keep the breeze on your knees and the wind on your chin!!!
