Congratulations Ernie......was a good choice and a good time to make the move.  I could hear the excitment in your voice last night as we were talking.  Did you make it to the Calif. state line.....where did you wake up this morning?

Got a room in Mt Shasta last night.  Got to Jim's about 1030 and home around noon.

I've had it for about 30 hours and it has over 800 miles on it, and yes, it's going to Jim's and my checkbook will take another hit.  :D

Ernie,
Had to laugh it was the same with me, by the time I got home all most 900 miles and rode it to Jim's it was ready for the 1K service and Cams. If your going to be around I will be at Jim's Friday morning, would love to see it!

Cams already?  What are you using and what exhaust and tuner is going on?  What else is going to happen right away?  It's only $$ right? :P

Stu, I'm not answering for Ernie, I'm guessing.

Cams,        Fueling 574  (although I prefer the TW7H for the more torque it gives to a heavy bike)
Pipes,        What else but Fullsac "B" pipe with 2.0 baffles.
Tuner,       TTS Mastertune
Tuner,       Is there anyone out there other than Bob.
Pushrods,   SE tapered adjustables
Lifters,       Fueling
Heads,       My guess is Ernie will skip the thinner gasket and not mess with the heads.

Is there a prize for the right answer?

I'm thinking he'll go with the .030 cometic gaskets also.  I passed on them the first time around but have them now and there is a seat of the pants noticable difference.  And enough people in Nor Cal already have this combination for him to know it's a very reliable combination. :2vrolijk_21:     Just my guess though. :nixweiss:

I'm for sure not going to answer for Ernie but Jim talked me out of it on mine, saying to pull the heads and all that is involed it isn't worth it unless your doing a rebuild like you did JC. I think Chip is right on! 574's, 2in Fulsac's and crossover, mine, jocks, fast380, Ak, and I know there's others!

Haven't decided on cams yet, but you guys are right on target.  I am not going to be the tester on this one like I was on the 04
