Now comes the next touch.
I happen to wind up with a second light bar frame.
I thought, wonder how it will look painted the lighter of the two blues.
I will assemble everything in the next few days and plan to use the lighter blue light bar frame.
I'm struggling with how it's going to look, but with a spare that is stock, I can always go back to the original color.
In a fairly decent lighted garage both of these pieces seem dark, and I have yet to see any of this in the sunlight.
So as I said in an earlier post, time, sunlight and how I like it will decide whether to go back to the stock dark blue frame or stay with the lighter blue frame.
What do you think?

Look at this picture and tell me what you think about the lightbar frame being the lighter of the two blue's.
I'm not sure about how it's going to look but going to give it a try.

Might be a nice accent...I'd have to see it on there to really decide though.

Well Terry, I wasn't sure I would like the lighter blue light bar frame but after assembly I think it looks great.
The light bar frame painted the lighter blue really is a subtle contrast to an all one color tour pack.
The Eagle, well that's another story. It shows but almost like a ghost Eagle.
Here's a few pictures. Unless in sunlight it's easy to miss the Eagle.
But then again some thought the bike was black and blue to start with.
Black and blue until the sunlight hit then the flake in the darker blue popped.
So, I'm done. the light bar frame looks great and the Eagle is almost like a shadow.
But it is, what it is.

Time for the next project.

Looks good, Chip...a little contrast back there is a good thing on that TP.   :2vrolijk_21:

Looks great Chip, the contrast adds a lot.  Did your guy paint the Logo on?  If he did, an d he does work like that, can you share his name and address I need to add the Screamin Eagle name as a Logo on my tourpack in between the tail lights and get rid of the one that just shows Harley Davidson.

Thanks

It's all paint Jim.
He did exactly what I asked.
It doesn't show as much as I had wanted, it's more like a ghost emblem.

Looks great! I like all your changes gave it some much needed contrast and detail. Really love the "Ghost Eagle".
