Looks like I'm in the market for inner cam bearing tools for the 96" and later engines.  Ran across this and the price is "too" good.

Has anyone had any experience with this distributor.  Apparently a Amazon sub-market, can't locate reviews or information.

I am aware of George's tools but cannot locate web site with information - a link would be appreciated.

There are two sizes of inner cam bearings so have to make sure you buy the correct tool.

I have the cam bearing install tool from Heartland. Works great and very well made. My puller is from Georges Garage. Georges tools are excellent also. Google MBS Manufacturing they make the Heartland stuff.

Thanks all, ordered the tools from Georges; the price on Heartland is spectacular and last comment indicates I could have used them.

Some question about the need to change the later year bearings, they are larger than those in the 88's.  Already banged on them with a cheapo puller so the decision has been made.

Still spectacularly cool, fall-like weather in OK.  High correlation between riding weather and bike on rack

I've had good luck with JIMS tools, but for aftermarket hard parts, I prefer S & S.

I bought the tools from the link and will install my cams tomorrow.
The only hesitation I can see is the bearing puller.  I seems to collapse OK but then to get the rod in to spread it back out is going to require some light tapping with a hammer.
George tools looks to have the same design so you can look at either website to see pics.
Has anybody used this type puller?  I would expect the spreader rod would be threaded so you could just screw it in to the puller to spread it out.

I use George's tools, and they work as advertised.
Take your time and don't force anything.
IMHO, quality tools.
I have other tools from other sources, but, always look for the quality, not necessarily the price.

So HOGMIKE have you specifically used the George's cam bearing puller?
I obviously don't want to force the puller in the old bearing...so I would think collapse it so it just slides in.  
But then to get the spreader rod in will require some tapping from a hammer.  Not probably too much, but just wanted to hear somebody who has done it before say that is the
correct way to do it.
