Maybe so.  Especially that transition moment from vertical free fall to horizontal flight.  A lot could wrong right there.  But at least there's power and aerodynamic control (if the bottles don't just blow up or the nozzles flame out and burn your butt).  All that being so I would in a hearbeat do what that guy was doing with his flying wing before I'd do what this guy is doing with nothing.  To me this guy has the biggest set in the entire civilian world.

Jeez,,, I was going to say " this guy has balls of steel too" BUT stoped short thinking better to say "he has balls of damn hard rubber". Less conductive.  ;D

Did you notice there was two of them out there inspecting the power lines?
Quite an exciting job and a case where an person with firm grounding is not right for the job ;)

Also have to know the process isn't nearly as sedate as that musically infused and relatively quiet video makes it out to be.  Turbulence and noise from the rotors isn't nearly as Zen as the imagery there made you feel while watching.  Yet those guys were out there just as casually as pulling on a pair of pants.  Those boys have stones.

No doubt! I have seen this video before and watched it two more times tonight! Still amazes me what people can do! Amazing! :2vrolijk_21:
