My new 11.5 blue fender is scheduled to be installed tomorrow morning. Took right at 4 weeks to get it in.

I mentioned this on another thread but here it goes again.  Caliente HD called yesterday and my new fender is in.  Around 2 weeks from approval to arrival.  Being installed on Saturday.  They must have Tequila fenders sitting around all of Milwaukee-lets hope its a good match   ::)

Why not get rid of wheel weights all together and use dyna beads?

they work great and easier to clean the wheel

Maybe this has been posted somewhere else but being on a rounded surface like that would seem like centrifigal force would be trying to shear the tape. If it had a flat area to adhere to then the forces would lock it into the pocket. My GTO spit out a weight on the left rear tire when I was hammering it and I could never keep them all in balance. Still have the stock tires on it but when I replace them I'll be adding them bead things as well.

Wouldn't you thinhk the factory would start working on a fix, even stock fenders are high but CVO's come on.  Wonder who is running the place sure is sad.  They need to run a promation, buy a new CVO and get two spare fenders and a 10 pound bag of wheel weights.   :nixweiss:

Mine has no weights, and no sign of any ever being on there.  Perhaps I got a perfect tire...I seriously doubt it, but I have seen it happen when working with tires in the distant past.  No vibrations indicating an out of balance wheel/tire, so I'm not going to fret over it for now.... :nixweiss:

You were lucky to get such good wheels & tires balanced like that.  You've just been hanging your bell right.  ;) har.  spyder

Lots of Wing and Valkarie riders use them with excellent results and that's why I chose to install them in mine. Despite the magazine article, they work.

They dispute every scientific test to verify they are indeed doing what they claim, so it's got to be a religious trust thing only.

BTW, Tornado owners swear they work too.
