Thanks for posting the pics.  That cord looks pretty 'stout'...does it have a very easy break=away in case of being thrown in a accident?  spyder

Spyd...the part of the cord you're seeing there is only about 6-8" long and ends in a sort of "D" shaped end...J&M sells the coiled cord that adapts from that end to the HD 7 pin socket typically on the tank console.  So, if you went off the bike, it would come apart at either place, more likely at the helmet end.

Good, don't need my head teathered to the bike just like I don't need any of those sharp pointy things on the grips, axles, etc.....there are enough ways to hurt yourself on a scooter w/o making it MORE dangerous.  spyder

I feel that. But, since it came with one, there are times I'd like to hear it.
