That just looks awesome! Almost makes me regret going with the chopped tourpak for mine... still waiting on mine since August 28... it should finally be here Oct 28
I am with the "less is better". That rear photo with the clean finish looks outstanding. I suggest the saddlebag lid spoilers with LED to go with the spoiler on the Tourpak.
You Sir, have one fine looking ride. Enjoy it in good health.
NGH, that is one very nice looking bike. The tour pak compliments it nicely.
At some point I will need to get one myself. But since my riding season is over for this year, it can wait until next year. The saddlebags offer plenty of storage for me for over night trips, and day trips with the misses. However, any over night trips with the misses will definitely require the additional storage of the king tour pak.
One idea for the back to help break up the large plain area, without being too gaudy IMO, is another tramp stamp similar to that on the rear fender. Keeping with the same color and style of the rear fender and front fairing pinstripping. Something I'm considering instead of adding lighting to my tour pak when I get it, since it will spend more time off the bike then on.
Thanks a lot for the compliments, guys! They really did the Tour Pak paint well this year. The color-matched Tour Pak spoiler is on its way... wish I would have thought to order it at the same time I ordered the Tour Pak back on Aug 28... now it's another several weeks to wait for it. I ordered it a couple of weeks ago..

I thought about the LED light bar on the Tour Pak... but I really don't want it to start looking like an Ultra back there. Plus it's like $450 or so... plus having it color-matched because the MoCo doesn't offer it except in that awful flat black. I have ordered a very thin little LED light bar with 115 LED lights from Ride Time Technology that mounts right under the Tour Pak lid and is barely noticeable, to provide more light back there without changing the look. I also ordered their little Turnz controller that plugs right into the harness under the seat, and makes the whole light bar into a very bright brake light, and makes the right and left 25 LEDS function as turn signal lights as well, with the brakes applied or not. The whole bar is only about 1/2" or so high - so unless you were really looking for it, you probably would not ever notice it's even there until the lights come on. I definitely need more light back there, and hopefully the combination of the spoiler light and this little LED light bar will provide enough.
I am torn with what else to do on the back of the Tour Pak... if anything else. I do like your idea of having pin striping done back there to match the pin striping on the fairing and rear fender.

Would have been nice if the MoCo had done that, to match. Just enough decoration to accent that
Big Orange Wall without ruining the effect or looking gaudy. I know a really good pinstriper up in Dawsonville who can do that... I may check into it...
