Wallpaper Road King

Guess there was an entire series in years past since the product literature in this tube read "and other models" along with the FLHRSEI designation.  Local construction materials junk store had a half dozen of these in their wall paper section.  Stupid expensive at $100; especially for this store.  But what the hell...

Glued it up in 10 minutes then spent the next 45 cutting out the board I'd glued it to.  Didn't want to just paper the wall somewhere so I could move it someday if felt the need.

I thought about using some hinges to mount it on the wall.  But couldn't.  Dood has all the hinges...  :confused5:

Thanks.  I thought so too.  Neat thing to have up there. 

One member already PM'd asking so I called the store.  They've got "at least" a half dozen more if someone is interested.  With tax it was right at a hundred bucks though.  If I wasn't totally snockered when I saw it there a couple of afternoons ago I'm sure I wouldn't have bought it.

What type of store did you find it at? Wallpaper store? Why is it so pricey? Just because they can! Don't worry I've wasted money on a lot more crap than that. You made it into "Art".

It's a place called "Tradex."  Overstock or damaged construction and home improvement goods.  The junk store version of a Lowes or Home Depot.  A few bargains and a lot of schlock.

Cost is probably just because they think some dumass Harley rider will buy it.  Can't imagine anyone being that stup....
