derby cover so hot it burns blister on my leg

Hi everyone,
I have read many comments about the heat from the 110 and from the cat but my derby cover is so hot it burns blisters on my leg.  I have a 2010 flhxse and it has been this was since new.   I just had the 1000k service performed and the dealer said everything was great.  Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, mine is hot, every HD I ever owned was this way, not sure it would blister thru boots/jeans but it is hotter than you would want to hold onto. BUT if you are riding in shorts/tennis shoes IMHO you deserve to be blistered, just sayin....

I usually just ride in my thong but since purchasing this bike I have to wear jeans.  I did not have this problem with my 2007 Fatboy or my 2009 flhx

Mine is the same way, Its about twice as hot as my 03 cover and  I just had the 10k done.

Ha ha!  Dude in a thong on an H-D!  That might even fly in Burlington, VT, where I used to live as they host thier yearly bicycle ride through the city naked event.  Got a good chuckle with this thread.

Wifey, her niece, and another girlfriend are going over to the French Quarter in N.O. this weekend.  They are having the Decadence Festival there.  In case you don't know what that is, it's a celebration of all things Gay, complete with leather, sequins, glitter, and makeup.  Needless to say, I am not going.  I love the FQ ordinarily but that festival and what you might see can make a heterosexual male wish he wasn't there.  Leather chaps with men's buttcrack all over will make me hurl.

My wife offered to buy me a "I'm going to throw up..." t-shirt but that didn't persuade me.  Girls can have their fun and at least I won't have to worry about anyone trying to pick her up.  I told her if she meets any beautiful lesbians she might be able to bring one home though.  (as if, lol)

Oh crap I totally forgot what this thread was about...  Derby cover too hot, right.  All the talk about heat from every surface of the 110 has me a bit concerned.  I expected more on the right, but on the left too?  Anyone else with too much heat?
