All kidding aside...

My wife complained about the same thing, said her Sportster never got this hot!!!

Instead of using this:

http://www.jpcycles.com/product/602-179?utm_source=googleproducts&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=602-179-Derby%20Cover%20Gasket%20Service%20Kit&utm_campaign=none

I tried using this one:

http://compare.ebay.com/like/380358368304

And she is very happy with the results.

From what I was told, the hot oil in the Primary doesn't touch the Derby Cover so it stays cooler. All I know is, she said it's much better and the complaining has stopped  :furious3:

Geez Charley your pic sure doesn't look like a 58 yr old male.   I know there have been many advances in medicine but fer cryin' out loud man!!!  It's enough to confuse a straight guy like me.  Is that you or what you wanna be lol?

Hey Sledge,

Not sure where JCZ got the 58 years from my profile since it does not list my age, but I am male which is indicated by the erect arrow next to gender.  The picture is of Joyce, the sales person where I purchased my bike. She is absolutely stunning!  She is currently working @ Tampa Bay Harley check her out on youtube!
