Hi CVO Forum. I have been lurking in the forum for the last week or so and am very impressed by the many threads and quality of advise and sharing of information. Well done all.
I am Pete, based on the south coast of Sussex, England. Presently riding a 2007 Road King Custom and a Buell 1200 Lightning amongst other rides.
I have been riding my Road King for 5 years now and, though I will miss it, am excited in getting into owning a SG. I have made a few trips to Arizona over the last few years and have toured several thousand of miles on a standard SG. The bat wing fairing in England is not that common, not like in the States, but slowly they are gaining in popularity.
I have spent the last few days in the Stealership, after learning a lot about the 2012 CVO SG from this forum.
Just need to sort out some finance and hopefully next week I will be putting in my order for a Slate Grey/Black CVO SG. In England when I place the order next week and give over my Road King as the deposit we might, if we get lucky, have the CVO SG delivered early Spring 2012. You guys Stateside obviously have the benefit of the initial delivery of new bikes. You are so lucky.
So I will continue to browse the forum, looking with interest into what happens to the water that goes into the bagger speakers. I like the idea of "turn up the volume" and watch the water eject itself from the housing as suggested by one of the forum's contributers. I also suffer from an over abused back so will be unfortunately replacing the saddle with one that can take a back rest. I am sure that the corbins and mustangs etc will rise to the challenge and provide a seat that meets our back rest requirements. So a long wait for the SG will soon commence with my Road King having to be given up to the dealership to avoid me putting any more miles on it and thus reduce its resale value.
The first picture I will post, in Spring 2012, will be my CVO Street Glide. I hope time passes by quickly.

Cheers all.
