Yep ... I have the NIM and iPod working just fine on my SESG2. I can also add Xm and CB if I want to (but would need to move the iPod module to the back ala 2012). Don't remember if the aux connection is required for Nav voice interrupts (I have a 665 and went the way of Tony to do aux on rear). Could be that aux input is only required for SD card tunes and/or XM from the 665 (probably the way it is).

Getting the NIM installed w/iPod is not that hard - I can walk you through it easy-peasy. When you get close PM me your number and we can discuss in detail. There are several ways to the skin the proverbial cat, we'll go over them and you can decide which one is the best fit for ya.

Great thanks!  I had the 660 running through my Aux on the '10 SESG, which wasn't a problem, because then I just played the tunes off the memory card.  I'd just like to avoid having the audio cord come out and connect to the AUX port as that would stick out against the Orange inner fairing.  It wasn't as noticeable with the black inner fairing on the '10.  You didn't do up a wiring diagram or anything did you?

I was told to hear music from your ZUMO through the bikes radio system the cable to the aux port had to be there.

That's a true statement Chip.  I cannot hear music from the 660 on my FLTRUSE, just the voice commands, but with the iPod on it, it's not necessary.  But if you do go through the Aux port, you'll not only get the voice prompts, but the music off the memory card, but unfortunately, you have to be in AUX position to do that.

My dealer just sold there red one and will have the citrus in next month.

P.S The wife and I where in Fredericksburg this past weekend and think I saw you cruising Carolina Sreet.
My wife and I stayed at a nice little B&B called the Carolina House, and just loved it.

Let me know if you went through town Sat. about 4 pm, if so it must have been you.

Yep, that was me rolling through downtown Fredericksburg around 4pm.  Did a "show off" run through town.  If you notice I had the tunes turned up pretty good too.  Wanted everyone to appreciate the rolling ghetto blaster.  Hope everyone like good old classic rock and roll.  The Caroline House is a very popular place to stay.  I love downtown Fredericksburg, still has that old small town atmosphere, we even still have the old Rexall Drug store with the soda fountain in it where you can get a "real" old-fashioned cherry coca-cola.

I love history, so between me going to all the civil war sites and my wife shopping!!!  HA

It'll sound better when I get those restrictive mufflers taken care off and get rid of the CAT.  The next time you come down to F'Burg, ride your bike and I'll take ya on a battlefield bike tour....all of the battlefields have great roads to ride and we have a bunch of battlefields around.

Nope that was the stock exhaust, CAT and all.  I think it sounds anemic, but that's just me.  I like a throatier sound.  Yep, the invite is open, just let me know, we'll get ya out to see the sights.
