Yea....after a few too many Buds, some of these boys around here will definitely open up a can of Whupp A$$ on the first person that looks at 'em funny...'specially the young'uns....us old farts have been there and done that, so now we just get mellowed out.  'Sides, I'm a lover, not a fighter... ;D ;)

Yea, Hub....I can relate too, man....I've got a little S&W titanium number with STHP's in her....I don't tote it, but it's here if needed.  I've done all that real hard partying (the all night kind), and I can still go there on occasion, but nowadays, I like kicking back on the porch with some good company, a couple of cold ones, and my dogs.  Sometimes the dogs are better company than people, but I do like to shoot the chit with those who have lived life, and somehow mangaged to live through it all....wouldn't change a thing though.....well, maybe a few hours here and there. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=oops.gif]  Sometimes I wonder how smart I'd be now if I had some of those brain cells I killed back when [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]  

We'll have to do some sitting on the porch in MV looking out at the creek...my room has a screened porch. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  I'll buy you a cold one  [smiley=drink.gif]

Been out on 10-day road trip & just now catching up on my reading.  TC these are both unbelievable rides.  They don't call the road from Durango to Montrose the million dollar highway for nothing.  Check it out: http://www.roadtripamerica.com/places/million.htm  Rode it in '04 while on the H.O.G. Posse Ride.  Awesome road.

In '02 we left Sturgis on to Glacier, then Yellowstone and finally the Black Canyon of the Gunnison into Montrose.  Another great ride as you said.  

Would highly recommend both these roads to anyone who has a chance to ride them.  You will remember them I guarantee that.
