I'm interested to find out if someone has used these.  The claims seem pretty incredible.  Are they made in China?  There is no way to get to the company address through the website and it looks pretty canned.

The batteries are made in Los Angeles, Ca. I asked them why they dont show information about their company on their web site, they said they left out this info because they are a small company that does not have a show room for their products. They also have temporay phone and fax numbers and plan to post their new phone fax #s on their site within 2 days.  

Their battery warranty is 3 years prorated and this information will also be updated on their web site in a few days. I asked about battery maintenance, they said none is really needed with this battery, and pointed out, to stay away from using slow chargers, their batteries will hold 100% of it's current up to one year if there was 0 draw on the battery. In other words, if you plan to have your bike sit for awhile, disconnect one of the leads during that time. I'll know more about this battery in a few months when I get my JUNK Jims 131 rebuilt and back on the road.

If there is zero draw for a year and they still hold 100% charge why do they recommend disconnecting if the bike is going to sit for "awhile"?

I don't know anyone who lets their bike sit in storage for a year but I guess if you are in the service and have to go overseas it could happen.  Like the idea of no trickle chargers needed, and the extra space in the battery box.  Seems like you'll need to strap it down or pad the space to keep it from bouncing around in there though.

Its bigger and heavier, but significantly out amps the Antigravity battery...am I missing something     Doc

Nope.  I believe you will find that the driving force behind the lithium battery as sold by this company is the racing game, where every bit of weight reduction can be very important.  But seriously, how much advantage is a 5 or 10 pound savings on a 950 pound Harley loaded with 400 pounds of rider/passenger and another 30 pounds of luggage?  You won't see any difference, trust me on that.

With a price near $300, plus a specialized charger since your regular lead acid chargers aren't appropriate for this kind of battery, I don't see this product making any big inroads into the heavyweight street bike market.  My advice, stick with the AGM's like the stock battery or the Odyssey. 

Do a search on "lithium iron phosphate battery" or "LiFePO4"  on the web for a better understanding of what this technology can and cannot do for you.

400 pounds of rider/passenger?  Wow.  I am 6'1" and 195.  Does that mean my wife (105 pounds) isn't eating enough?  And only 30 pounds of gear?  My wife packs more than that for a one mile ride to the mall.

There's some pretty big 'ol boys and gals who ride Harleys...some look like a monkey on a football.

New HD's have some current draw all the time, thus their recommendation to disconnect the battery if the bike sits.  Like Jerry, I just don't see the need for this type of battery in a big touring bike.  I leave mine on a battery tender at all times when it's parked.

Do you know if the 2011 SEUC came with the battery tender charger dongle already attached to the battery?  I forgot to get mine off my bike before they salvaged it.

I think thats something only some dealers put on when they prep bikes. All bikes at my dealer don't have them, I went shopping with a buddy at a different dealership and every bike on the floor had them.

I was surprised to see that mine came with one. Fifth bike from same dealer, second CVO ultra. First dongle!!!
