I about to order Fullsac X pipe for my upcoming 12 SE Ultra.
Are you saying the stock decatted headpipe alone (also sold by Fullsac for $200) is worth 2hp /2tq more than the $479 X pipe or is this with the new core baffles in the mufflers too?
Just want to compare apples to apples

I would use the Fullsac over VH. The testing I have done on a Dyno is Fullsac is better. But what I have found even better is cutting out cat. converter out. I have gained 2hp/2ftg over full sac x pipe. Using Full sac CVO baffles.
And for the cost is $200 over $479. Alot of savings

A Stock non cat headpipe makes more power than our X Pipe and Vance + Hines? You really think so?  :huepfenlol2:

I run the V&H x pipe and tts master with Fullsac map. Runs great no complaints. The way I see it is use fullsac pipe if you want to keep stock heat shields and appear stock. Otherwise the &*H x pipe looks great and runs great. I think you splitting hairs when you talk about 2 hp? Can you really feel that and does it matter unless your taking it to the strip to race? JMHO!

as i have previously said on other post in this forum, the "B" x pipe is hard to beat with a spot on complete  tune it rivals  with many 2-1 pipes,  look at my dyno sheet posted in this  forum  it shows the typical "fulsac torque curve" which is pretty flat  and hard to beat @ 120/120  std,    118/118  sae ,   dyno "v" tune  from a 107, as Steve says you be the judge

I seriously doubt that a stock head pipe that was cut, had the cat removed and welded back together makes more power than the Fullsac X pipe.

My guess is you will never be able to tell a difference in performance.  So go with the one you like the looks of the most.
Or if there is a big price difference and you are up in the air about which one to get, I would go with the cheaper and buy something else I want with the savings.

FWIW:

This is the chart of my 2010 before (with gutted stock header) and after with the x-pipe. Same dyno, same day, same gas, etc, etc.
