Not only do you get to see things you've never seen before, you get to smell them (still remember the fertilizer on the corn and soy fields in Iowa), and some times taste them (the bugs around the above fields are ferociously big, and have a distinctive taste :o).  [smiley=pumpkin.gif]

Darn bugs are smart, they wait until you get ready to talk, yawn, laugh, or some other way that one will open their mouth. Then right when you do it, they get you. :-[

One of my best times ever on a bike.  Riding across Nebraska with the (then) girlfriend.  Several years ago.  I don't remember what but she was p.o.'d about but it was Something.

Yap yap yap yap yap, seemed like it had gone on for miles.  I'd zoned out to the specifics of it some several minutes before but did notice when in mid word the yammering just suddenly stopped.  Glanced back (couple minutes later) and she's got her hands at her mouth and her throat and is turning a few shades of green and blue.  Had caught some big-assed bug in mid tonsil as she was stammering away about whatever indiscretion I was innocent of.  It was great ![smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I just wonder if he can hold a straight face when he says, "I was innocent"? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Yammering. Man is that word just sooooooooo descriptive or what ? Yelling and hammering and just running the mouth. Yammering  Damn I like that word.

Why is it women have 1,000 words for what men can only come up with 10 for ?

Also, I'd apologize more if the apologies were ever actually accepted and I was spared those 1,000 words.

hmmmmmm  hadn't thought about that!  Currently have reservations down the Skyline Drive, BRP and Knoxville before arriving at MV but the rally being so close sounds like I should consider it!

Add SC to those states w/o helmet laws. Think about doing one of the Myrtle Rallies (Spring or Fall). Matter of fact the Fall rally this year will be Oct 4 - 8, 2006 you can always leave home early for MV. ;D

Do you get passed by semi's on your Skyline Drive just like Colorado?
