I have to be honest. I am not afraid to get back on and ride again but sitting still in stopped traffic will probably break me out in a sweat. I'm not sure how I will handle that situation. To add to the story, I am suing the lucky guy that hit me and yesterday we heard from his attorney. His defense is that I was operating my mc in a wreckless manner. Does anyone know how you do that when you are sitting still? It gave me my laugh for the day..

       Welcome to the site, Judy  :welcome_005:  Congratulations on your SESG!   :2vrolijk_21:   :2vrolijk_21:  Very sorry to read of your injuries and hope you heal quickly and completely.  :2vrolijk_21: 

       You mentioned you did not know how you would handle being stopped like that again.  In CA where we can split lanes (lane share) I try never to sit at the end of a line of stopped cars.  Seems like that is where we are most vulnerable.  Still a friend of mine recently had a similar accident and was rear-ended on his Goldwing.  It was a very bad result.  I realize lane spitting is not legal in most states but it's something to consider...  Good luck!
