After a 180 mile ride I decided to put the insulation back in the mufflers. It was just too loud for my taste. Now when I'm cruising it has a nice rumble and when I get on her it's still nice and loud.  I got two nice chrome button head bolts and replaced the ones from Fillsac. I'm real happy with the setup.

Thought it was too load? You MUST be getting old! :o

I removed the stock exhaust today. I removed the baffles and have everything ready to go back on as soon as UPS runs tomorrow. X-pipe, 2" baffle and TTS tuner.
Also while the head pipes are off, adding the 1" floorboard extenders. Should be riding before sundown tomorrow.

Are the extenders from Harley?

The floorboard extenders were after market. Found them on ebay for $40.00 shipped to the house. They really make a big difference. Do a search like this one FLOORBOARD EXTENSION EXTENDER FOR HARLEY 09-11 FL CVO There are a couple people selling them. The CVO ones are chrome. If you have a 2012, the bolts are a 1/2" longer than the other bikes. Be sure to ask that question before you order.

I got the bike back together today. The B X-Pipe, 2" baffles and the TTS tuner. Hardest part is cutting out the old baffles and that wasn't really that hard. Everything went right back into place. The X-pipe fit great and was a snap to hook back up. The baffle went in with no problems. I drilled the hole on the bottom and put a chrome carriage bolt in place of the hex head. Really can't see it unless you bend over looking for it. The TTS tuner was very simple to do. That took all of 10 minutes and have that time was hooking up the cables to the bike and computer. Once it was all done I fired it up, sounded better than I thought it was going to sound. Very pleased with the complete package. Just about the time I was ready to ride the rain started and has not stopped. Looks like it will be tomorrow before I can take it for a spin and really hear and see how it will run. Will advise later......
