Hairy Bikers.............History Channel
« on: October 20, 2011, 08:29:49 AM »

Has anyone caught any of the episodes on the History Channel. Basically 2 guys riding around the U.S. on Harleys going from town to town highlighting the nuances of small town America. I don't know how long it's been on but there 1/2 hr segments. I believe they're both from Texas, one is a classically trained Chef who has cooked for George H Bush, and his buddy is a Mechanic. Pretty good entertainment. I had to DVR the show, it was on late at night..........................................Check it out...........................Fuzz :coolblue:

Saw that one...I might could do the crispy ones, but those medium rare ones...no friggin' way.  I don't know if I could do either if somebody told me what it was before I tasted it.

That same episode they were catching/killing Nutrino (big azzed swamp rats) and cookin' them up down in Southern Louisianna.  Those Cajuns will eat anything... ;) :huepfenlol2:

Thanks for the link! Hey, what's not to like about this show? 2 good ole boys riding round the country on Harleys meeting good folks and eating/drinkin lots of good grub and suds...and they are funny too. They even had a show about combining hard red winter wheat and wheat beer from this red dirt girl's native state Oklahoma.  :2vrolijk_21:

Have been doing business with Bill Allen for awhile now.  If any of you guys happen to be in college station you'll have to drop by and check out his shop.  Good group of guys.

I watched part of an episode last week (called Swamp People) showing them hunting down swamp rats then feasting out on them, then quickly found myself channel surfing and stoping at Man vs. Food... after watching some guy down a two pound hamburger, with one pound of fries I was channel surfing again and stopped at Pimp my Ride, after 10 mins of that, went to bed... I tell, Thursday Night TV SUCKS   :'(
