Thanks fo your replies. I definetely will check to make sure the Engine Program Mod was completed. If not what kind of price am I looking at to get it done? Is that what it is actually called? Like I said, I am new to Harley so the terminology may not be understood very well. As far as bolt ons what tips give the best "authentic" low rumbling sound of Harley. I hate baffled pipes.

Welcome from Brussels,Belgium.
I was in Brussels 2 weeks ago!  Second visit to your city.  Best mussels and beer in the world.  Went by Capital City HD for a T-shirt.

Best looking bike in years...fixing the mechanical flaws will be worth it, just watch it on the accessories!   ::)

I would be persuasive to have this done, if not already, as a matter of customer satisfaction by the HD mothership..Squeak enough, you may get some grease.

Hi guys, I just bought my first Harley. After going to four dealerships, I walked in and saw a 2007 CVO Road King, with 5000 miles on it, for 21,000. After some haggling, I walked out paying 18500 for the bike. Of course, I need to change the pipes out, but what are some of the things that guys did first or found that needs done with the bike?

Sounds like you got a great deal!  I have 25k mi on mine running strong.  Have done 2 1500 mile Iron Butt rides and 2 rides from SC to Sturgis.  I added a Corbin dual tour heated seat and a Dragonfly fairing to mine.  Love the bike.

I would never discount the females, after all you females take more care of your stuff then us men do. Im just wondering how much that engine mod would cost if they tell me that I have to pay for it.

Since it is a factory recall it should be covered by HD, unless there is a time limit?  Mine was covered 100%.
