       Kankamagus or Kancamagus - - I think it depends on whether you look at the signs in Maine or New Hampshire LOL Anyway,the sensitivity to the spelling goes back to the late 70's at a campground in Meredith NH during what was then Laconia weekend. There were a bunch of (oh chit aren't we wonderful) horn yonkers ( New Yorkers) calling it the Kangaroo Highway, because they insisted it was the Kangamangus  (effin New Yorkers know everything - - -just ask em )

So, you can take the boy out of Maine, but you can't take the Maine out of the boy. I'll always be a Mainiac.

Still on the Ferry... this is a super couple we met on our campground... they rode up from Tampa, Florida on a Triumph... 1500 miles one way.  From Left to Right is Annie, my wife Theresa, and JC.  We had a blast hangin with these two.  We'll keep in touch and hook up again.  One thing about bike week events... you have lasting memories... but best of all you always make some lasting friendships!!!
