Now that I am not using a phone....................
tried out both the new Schubert and Nolan helmets.
Nolan: fit good, visor is huge, locking is all stainless. As the chin bar raises it is cantilevered to slide up closer to the helmet shell. Visor equipped with pin lock and it comes with a pin lock shield that now has a silicone seal along the edge. Nolan claims to be the only licensed in-house pin lock manufacturer.
Chin bar can be locked in the open position.
One finger slide for the drop down sun visor, one button retract. The visor does not seem to be able to be left in anything but the deployed or retracted position.
Helmet uses the new Ncom B4 comm unit that only works with Nolan devices. Up to 4 now.
As the Ncom system has a history that appears to be good, I was more concerned with the speakers and or if better speakers could be installed. My desire is to listen to my tunes in the helmet instead of the out in the open (no good above 50-55). The Ncom is mounted in the normal spot for a Nolan and is not backwards compatible, different size and shape.
I only have one song on my new phone, but it is one I have heard dozens of times in various settings (home, truck, ear or head phones). I was pleasantly surprised at how well the sound was and really anticipate finally being able to enjoy some tunes on the road.
I did not try and sync the iPhone to try Bluetooth music, I used a mini jack patch cord.
Schubert: Fit is good, visor is a standard size is a pin lock type (no shield supplied). Visor also has a series of "bumps" along the top edge of the shield that is supposed to do something for the air flow. The chin bar locking is all stainless. The drop down sun visor is slide actuated, seemed to drop further then the Nolan and could be left in any position.
The comms are actually part of the neck collar. No neck collar, no comms. The comm unit is built by Scala and is equivalent to the the latest Scala Q4. Neither comm unit at the Schubert booth was charged up

I asked the rep if he would make an effort to get it charged and he begrudgingly agreed to try. Never made it back to the booth to see if he did.
Both claim to have new and superior ventilation that is supposed to be fairly quiet. That is an issue I have with my current helmet, the wind noise with the vent open is horrible.
Both have removable neck colliers and chin dams. Both claim anti bacterial components and fully removable for cleaning.
Both helmets were more of a challenge to don and doff, strong shells take more effort to spread to get over your noggin. My HD HJC FF is fairly easy.
Also stopped at the Scala booth. They also did not have a Q4 charged up and mounted in a helmet for me to try my iPod

I asked about the speakers, the new Q4 have amplified 32 ohm speakers and are "supposed" to sound much better then the earlier models - but not having them charged , who knows.
And he couldn't tell me if my iPod/iPhone would sync and play music.
Nolan - show price $399 shipped, sometime in late February. comms, $399 extra for one unit. The Nolan was $50 extra for anything that was not a plain color e.g. one of the graphic patterns.
Schubert - Show price $699, some in stock. Don't recall if they included the tax at that price. Comms were also $399 for one unit. For a comparison, you could get the Scala Q4 for 2 people for the $399 price, and it will work when you take out the neck collar/dam.
$300 price difference, not having full time comms put the Schubert out of contention.
Both helmets are DOT and ECE certified. Neither helmet can be Snell certified due to the movable chin bar
