Almost a CVO owner

I want to say hi to all and this is my first post. I am just about to purchase a 2009 cvo ultra and not sure if the 110 motor has all the updates. The cvo has 15000 kms and is in mint condition with monster ovals, they are asking $29,900 canadian. Wounder if this is a good price. Attatching photo

Have them run a check of the VIN, will tell you what if any recalls OOPS (Product Enhancements) have been done. Pretty low mileage. If you are wondering about the price do a quick SEARCH on this site and/or go on to eBay. Of course the prices you'll find will be mostly US Dollars.

Is this bike at a HD Dealer in Canada and where? I am in Calgary.

Not out of line as the exchange rate is close to even. However, it is the best buyers market I have ever seen along with winter being best time to buy. That is a beautiful color combo and if it really trips yo trigger, get it. If you're not in a rush, might get a better deal. The good part is most low mileage CVO's are very well taken care of. Good luck with your decision and stop by the intro page and let everyone know you are here.

If you like it buy it,, but i will say that price is not to far off from the 2009 MSRP, which I think was $32.5K US Dollars .. The CVO's hold their value pretty well,  jus did a google and find the average asking is 29K (US) and some as high as 30.5K... I say your doing good....   :2vrolijk_21:

I am Know that bike was north of 32K US dollars as the CVO Road Glide with out all the ultra stuff was that much in 2009. 

It was over 35K in 2009

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! Just FYI there price is $2,000.00 + more than what I paid for mine in June of 2010 and mine only had 4,360 miles. Would not hurt to make a lower offer or ask for a lower price. I agree with the other posts also. Don't know about the difference in money exchange thing.

I just want to say thanks to all of you, I was able to check the blue book value listed at $19,000-$22,000 and retail $27,000-$29,000. Looks like a $7,000 cushion. Going to go in at $27,000 cash and see what happens. Again thanks to all and will post pictures soon.

2nd Welcome from TN

You're engine should be okay as far as updates EXCEPT the compensator.  You might need a SE compensator.  Mine had to be upgraded to cure starting woes (grinding, kick backs...which messed up the starter drive and clutch basket).  Other than that, you should be good as any 110.  The only other issue I have had in 57,000 miles so far is having to have the lifters replaced.

Sounds like a reasonable offer that they will still make money on the deal, you will get the bike you want at a good price. Good luck! Awaiting pics! :drink:
