Has anyone installed SE 10.5 pistons?
« on: November 01, 2011, 10:01:11 AM »

Has anyone install the 10.5 pistons that Harley has for the 110 motors with 110 stock heads?  If so did it give you a lot more low end pull.

Yes, however also changed the cam to the SE259 and stock mufflers c/w 2" Full Sac Baffles and tuned by JARZ performance using TTS see attached dyno sheet.

Right now I am having the heads mildly worked on, will know the difference soon.

What else where you planning to change besides the pistons?  If the plan is to just change the pistons and nothing else, do yourself a big favor and forget that plan immediately.

Nice HP and TQ, have you done anything to the heads, how much do you think the D&D Fat Cat Exhaust helps out? Thats were I will be looking next.

One of my customers picked up 10hp with my heads (had those on before too and slip-ons with stock 07 headpipe) on a 110 switching to the FatCat, on Jarz dyno

How much louder would  the D&D Fatcats be than the stock mufflers with Fullsac 2" Baffles, already have the X Pipe and cat less headers?

Has any one used the Wenger Exhaust, I know some on HTT (HV) using them on 120s do not know about the 110s?

Heads are stock. I think the pipe helps out with the torque. I have the big baffle in mine so it is quite loud. If you dont like loud exhaust , i would definetly not use that baffle. I love it. It sounds nasty when you drop the hammer down... :2vrolijk_21:

I had the upgrade kit installed in mine, that's the 10.5 pistons, stock SE heads, D and D exhaust, high flow filter and SE tune.  Runs good.

should clarify, if you look at my dyno. the reason my prior numbers were fair is because I had switched from an Andrews 54 cam to the upgrade kit.

I had them installed with the 259E cams and don't know what it felt like before as I had it done before I took it home for the first time but it runs like a bat outta hell. Was able to talk my way out of one speeding ticket and I wasn't even trying to go fast that time. :huepfenjump3:

$aving time & money on labor, Would'nt it be wise to have the heads worked by Don (Deweysheads) with a bump stick to match the port job, plus keeping drivability using pump gas?
