SCREAMIN’ EAGLE® PRO 110 PERFORMANCE UPGRADE KIT*
« on: November 29, 2011, 09:11:20 PM »

I have a 2011 FRLTRUSE.  I'm considering having this kit installed along with replacing the head pipe to get rid of the CAT and then going with Rhinehart 4" slipons.
Here's a snippet from the advertisement and also a link to the actual document.  http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Media/downloads/Racing/US_SE10_Supplement.pdf?&bmLocale=en_US

Designed to maximize performance with the stock cylinder heads, this “in-a-box” kit includes high compression 10.5:1 pistons, SE-259E cams, Perfect Fit pushrods, high performance clutch spring, and gaskets. The kit also includes the “must have” Screamin’ Eagle Pro EFI Super Tuner module to provide the right on-track tuning for maximum perfor- mance. Installation provides significant improvements in performance over the street-legal 110ci CVO vehicle config- uration. When equipped with high-flow air intake and high- flow exhaust, the combination has the potential to produce 114 HP and 110 ft lbs. of torque with the stock cylinder heads

If anyone has any experience or opinion I would welcome hearing it.  I'm looking for better performance and better sound, but  don't want to give up streetability.

Might want to think outside the "boxed" kit.
Are you looking for touring type power, or a street scorcher?
Many options. ;)

 :-\
When I got my new '09 SE Ultra,  I got the 110 "SE Race kit" installed on mine.   I believe that the cams that came with my kit were SE260's.

These did not give any torque down lower in the range where you would want it.   I ended up swapping cams and got T-Man cams that were much better on the low end.

Check out the cams with your kit to find out the specs.

The cam I'm looking at is the SE-259e.  I think it has the SE-255 now, the stock cam.  Any idea how difference in torque on the low end I would experience?  More or Less than the stock cam at RPM's 4000 and below....

Wouldn't that same power number and 120+ torque feel better and that can be had without changing pistons and using a 236 degree cam.

I had this kit install and am very satisfied. Bike runs strong.  my exhaust is D&D which is load.  I should note on my dyno my first run was with an Andrews 54 cam 0.030 head gaskets, high flow air cleaner and the protuner.

That's good info, thanks.  Could you answer a couple questions?
What type of exhaust are you running, ie... 2-1, 2-1-2, true duals?  Do you have any issues with starting the bike?

Hi Smitty
I have installed the kit in my FLHXSE2 about 8 months ago . I run Vance and Hines power duals with High output slip-ons . I didn't use the race tuner but fitted a Power Commander V instead .
I picked up about 16 hp at about 4400rpm but only marginal gains with Torque ( about 1.5 ft/lb )
But here is the kicker - both HP and Torque curves moved about 300rpm to the right and there is a noticeable "dip" in the torque curve between 2000rpm and 2800rpm - right where you need it !
It is still very rideable though , you just have to keep the revs up a bit especially if you are loaded up for a trip.
I am trying to get rid of the dip by looking at replacing the SE259e cam with an Andrews? or Woods ? to try and fix the dip and move curve back down rpm .
When I get back home I will scan and post the Dyno Chart .
Cheers
Dave

That's pretty much what my dealer told me when I spoke to them about the kit.  I think the SE259 might be a bit to far to the right.  I do like torque.....

Smitty, I'm running the D&D Fat Cat with Performance baffles, it's a 2 to 1 pipe.  I have not had any startign issues.

I'm pretty new to this, so please excuse my ignorance....  I've read that the range for a cam considered to be engineered for torque over HP is 236 to 260.  How would using a 236 degree cam opposed to a 259 degree cam affect top speed, rpm at a curising speeds, and fuel economy?
