just had my 103 dynoed today
« on: July 02, 2006, 08:29:40 PM »

just had my 103 c.v.o dynoed all i have are D&D 2 into 1 header , s.e.r.t, and i went whole hog and bought $15.00 scremin eagle plug wires but any way 100h.p and 104 torque, no more back fire or hiccup this bike runs as good as it looks and my pipes can set off car alarms and make good folk roll up there windows, just had to brag a little because it ran like s--- before my dyno , and my stealer was not going to help out once the deal was done they did not know my name. i wish i had printer and i would post my dyno ,but what there saying is D&D boarzlla really was big factor, at first i wanted stock pipes put back on because i think harley should have 2 pipes , but i will never change now, they really make h.p.  Good deal , always nice to hit 100/100+ .

I hit 98/101 on my 95" WG3 with heads/TW31cams/carb se slip-ons,  but it always ran a bit rough , switched to V&H propipes which were wonderfully obnoxious and picked up about 6hp/lbs ft and it ran WAY better.

I'm running a 103 stage II FLHX now and it's only running mid 90's /low 100  , she goes in for her second SERT tune at the 5K service , hopefully now that she's fully broken in they can pull a few more out.

I just had my FLHTCUSE Dynoed this week also.  I have the SE Slip on mufflers & the high flow air cleaner.  1st Dyno run produced 88 hp & 96 torque, with a bad looking air fuel curve.  Using the HD Race Tuner it took 9 runs but ended up at 102 HP & 106 torque.  Now it has a nice flat air fuel curve.

The biggest difference I noticed was how smooth it pulls now.  Yep, now maybe some cams!

Hey Sklywag!

I have the same setup with the map cartridge.  The numbers you quoted as the start were with the SERT also?

Hey, sorry I never replied.

Yes, I had everything done originally before I picked it up.  The dealer loaded a HD recommended MAP using the Race Tuner, so I had the race tuner from the start.  It was never right so I went to a good Dyno shop and ended up very happy.

Gus,
First off welcome to the site.  You might want to go over to the New Members section and introduce yourself.  Sounds like you got a good find there.  Finding an '03 with 150 miles on it.   :2vrolijk_21:  Enjoy the ride.
