Plug wires on our bikes are a real pain in the arse.  Tank is easy on an off though.  Almost not worth the hassle fighting the wood and other stuff not to just pull it and clean up underneath  ;D .

If you've not gotten a hands on walk through of yanking a tank before MV we'll do it then.  You'll be cleaning areas you never got to before in no time  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

D00d, I looked all over the bike last night and couldn't find it.  Where the hell does this thing mount and what special cleaning products do you use on it?  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

It's only specific to my scooter. Mounts on left leg, bottom part is screwed into femur, top part is attached to pelvis. Doesn't require any routine maintenance, and should last anywhere from 10 - 20 years as long as it doesn't get abused. No special cleaning products required, and hopefully no peeling chrome. [smiley=nervous.gif] ;D

But if you ever roll in to a bikini bike wash would it require any special care?

Nice job Don getting the correct prosthesis befitting a man of Gary's years and abilities vice the clothespin  and glue version they use on little old ladies. Wifey performs routine checks on mine.  ::)

Oh yea. Now whether it will be a lucrative adventure who knows? But we will be having fun if nobody else does. We can do a test run at MV.

If we cared about lucrative we'd be riding Hondas and not giving in to the OCD.  We're here to have fun.

Guess this decides it.  Me and Gary are starting a travelling motorcycle vaudeville act.  The name for the act is a work in progress.  So far my suggestions are:

1) Gary and Don
2) Eats
3) Wildly Exciting Riders For Total Real Injoyment Mucho (WE Riders For TRIM)

I was thinking the metal do dad looked a lot like a shifter.....then if you had one in both legs I started to realize the shifter you would be most interested in is already mounted between what would be the newly istalled pieces.  Mmmm, have to think about all this and maybe revise the bikewash offer.

Hey how about that -- I am a stealth chrome installer!!!  I am a nurse working in a cardiac cath lab.  We perform cardiac caths and stent placement -- some stents are made of cobalt chromium.   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

There you go, just another fine example of how stealth this chrome can get.
