Smart security system

How do you arm the system when you first get the bike ? Got my new CVO Ultra a few days ago. I noticed when I walk away; the red light does not flash. It actually never flashes. Whether I have the fob near the bike or not; it will still crank. Do I need to do something to arm it for the first time ??

selling dealer should have set it up and gone over it with you during delivery >> But .. its in the manuel as well and for what its worth .. there is an App that goes thru some of the steps for it ..

My EG that I traded in had it so I didnt think much about it. Not until I got home did I realize that it would not arm. The little red key light never flashes. I can't find anything in the manual about initial set up of the system. Normally I thought you just walked away, and it armed itself.. I guess a trip to the dealer is on my list of things to do tomorrow.

Just a thought and if you already checked, sorry, but open the fob and check the battery for the little piece of plastic  that keeps the contacts from touching the battery.
