A Radar detector that makes a good fit

Radar detector
Whistler Cruisader mounted into the lower faring hard cover door, with a stainless body angled to face the rider. The radar unit is mounted in the faring onto of the Radio and the laser is mounted under the bike, and an LED alert is mount into the dash for easy warning. it came out very clean and is a no hassle start up with the key start for the bike.

The back side is clean and doesn't take away from the storage space.

The Laser is mounted lower and to the side of the wheel.

Nice job, how does it do picking up on radar and laser?  Could it fit in the place of the useless temp gage on the dash?

I believe that was it's original intention....but it only comes close to matching a non-CVO.

Is it the same diameter as the gauges???  It has a voltmenter built in, so the newer SESG's could remove the stock voltmeter and still not lose that readout.

I would really like to have the radar detecter even if it does not match perfectly. I'm guessing (hoping) it's waterproof since it was designed for a bike.

Yes it is water proof it is made for a handle bar mount on a bike.  And yes it does fit in the same place of the Temp gage I had one on my old bike in that location. I changed it on this one because the face doesn't match the rest of the gages.
