Outstanding looking stable Twolane! Still room in there for a red Switchblade tho!

...or a red FXR2?

Thank you Brian (and Mark and Ray and Marty and everyone else who deserves a mention).  Something just a bit special about having three of your all time favorites all in a row.  I am so not worthy (ok, yes I am).

Shouldn't you have at least one bike for every voice in your head?? Nevermind... lets not do that... you would need to build an addition on to the shop. :D :D

BTW.. The red tri-fecta looks outstanding!!!

dont recall seeing it mentiond, what are the bank of accessory switches for?

The top switch is the little 2" Headwinds spotlights.  Middle switch is the lower fog lights mounted on the crash bar.  Bottom switch doesn't have a function yet but its pair is pulled through the bars and currently hang out inside the left side cover.  That switch will likely become a master switch for a heated pad that will go in the saddle when it gets reworked.

Nuts.  Just thought of something.  This had completely escaped me until this moment.  I didn't leave a power connector spare in the nacelle to run the GPS when it's mounted on the handlebars.  Have seen a panel mounted 90 degree 2 pin Deutsch connector that would probably be a good option.  Could mount it in the panel area high on the nacelle in front of the tank.  Would be a permanent power point easy to access for a bar mounted GPS unit.

Oh... I see the "SERK" was a "SEEG" today too :shocked2:... you are just asking for trouble... if red bikes are like red-heads there is going to be a cat fight in the shop tonight. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

I have been following this build on the site and watched the struggles and successes you have had.  In the end it is always worth all of the effort and you have a really great looking Road King there......I hope you enjoy riding it as much as you have enjoyed building it.....

So far they've all got along Gary.  Can't say I'm not surprised.  The SERG is never a problem.  It's like me, even tempered and gets along no matter what's going on.  The SEEG, however, it can get grumpy and feisty when it thinks it's not getting its fair share of attention.  During the latter stages of the Road King build the SEEG hasn't seemed to pay any attention though.  It starts and runs and goes about its merry way.  Seemingly paying no attention at all.

The Road King, I'm thinking, is going to be like a happy puppy for awhile.  It won't care what's around, what's going on, or how fleeting is the attention.  It's just going to wag its tail and be happy to play every time it gets the chance.  It may occasionally pee on itself.  But its just out to have a good time.

Thanks man.  As with all the good wishes I really appreciate it.  The project has been fun.  Still a few additions the bike will get as time passes.  But even if not done it is definitely done-for-now.  That's a good feeling.
