That RG is about the most butt-ugly design I've ever seen in a custom RG.   :o  The fairing, IMO, ruins the look of the rest of the bike.  A standard RG fairing would have looked sooooooooooooooooo much better on that bike.

Agreed

I'm a big fan of the winning bike this year.  Clean, and not too overdone.

How is that possible?  That thing doesn't even have saddle bags or a fairing. :nixweiss:            :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

It's always interesting to see so much money spent with no practical value.  What good is it without hard bags....

Interesting bikes. Not one I'd pay a lot of money for but I'm sure someone loves them. Thanks for sharing!

It's functional. When you stop somewhere you lower the fairing and park the bike inside of it.

Glass half full or half empty?  If you're a half full person you look for what's good in each.  Sooo, it looks to me like the builder wanted to have flowing lines on the bike. The shape of the fairing is kind of Cadillac Escalade like. The speakers scream "SoCal".

OK,  I'll bet the title of this ruffles a few feathers and it probably should.  Their title, not mine and I suspect there will be differences of opinion.   :huepfenlol2:  This year's Grand National Roadster / Bike Show in Pomona, CA was the 63d Annual show and fabulous though a bit low key.  Here is the award winner owned by Dawndra Baldi of Cherry Valley, CA, a 2010 Custom Pro Street:

FWIW, Sam Baldi (I think husband) won last year!
True... "America's Most Beautiful Motorcycle"... in my eyes is mine... all the rest.... well.... they aren't mine and are just motorcycles. :D :D

Thanks for posting the pics. I think they made the right choice from among those bikes... the winner is at least tasteful and not gaudy or ridiculous like most of the others.

But frankly, show bikes just don't do much for me... I'd rather see a show where the winner is a vintage '65 Panhead Electra-Glide or '72 Shovelhead FLH with bugs guts all over it. Something like one of these... either of which are FAR more beautiful than any show bikes I've ever seen... just sayin'.

 HEY NOW!

Like the Roadsters at this show, you would be afraid to take them on the street. To them that is not the point, just the Most Beautiful. All look great in their own, and a couple I would love to own. Thanks for the share Greg.
