Ok, I saw all three in person and I'll throw my 2 cents in:

Lightning Blue Pearl & Midnight Pearl:
I liked this one the least.  I don't think there was enough contrast between the two colors of blue.

Black Ice & Electric Orange:
This one was middle of the road for me, Flashy, but i don't feel it looked balanced.  On all the bikes the "highlight color" (ie: Orange, Dark Blue, Black) ratio is different on each part.  As an example 25% of the tank is Orange and 75% is Black, but on the Front Fender it's at least 50/50. From the front all you see is Orange on the fender, where the fairing is just a stripe.  It is flashy though, I saw a video of one riding toward the camera and then by it.  One last thing, I like Orange and Black Harleys!  I think this one is alittle out of balance.

Light Candy Cherry & Black Ice:
I liked this one the best!  This will be the one that is ordered/purchased the most.  While it still is out of balance.  The Black doesn't hit you so hard.  Also, all the colors have a little pearl shadeing between the colors, you can see it on the Red/Black one more than the others.  It has more of a rich look!

This is of course my opinion, for what it worth!  Any other questions about them let me know.

Oh yeah, one more thing they fixed the plug-in for the passenger headset and it will retro-fit!

The color transitions also look nicely done.  I did't expect to see that from the MoCo photos.  I had forgotten how little I liked the haze photos versus how much I liked it in person.

103 is on the money about asking other's opinions about what you should buy.  Buy what you like.  I personally, really like both the burnt pumpkin and the cherry, but whatever causes you to say - "I gotta have" is the one you should be looking at.  Good luck with your choices.   :D

My husband and I absolutly love the Red and Black, second choice is the Black and Orange. Don't like the two tone Blue's, IMOP just way too much blue, they should have gone with blue and silver or something else. Sandy

Thanks for the pics Twolanerider!  They are great!  The bikes look a lot different in your photos than they do on the website.  

I had placed an order for the Black and Orange and the dealer called today to say it has gone into the plant on July 14th and I should have a VIN by the end of the week!  Your pics confirm my decision, but the red looks a lot better than I thought it would!

Well I finally decided on the red/black. My bike is set to ship on 08-01-06! Dealer says it should be here by 08-10-06. My dealer was in San Diego last Friday at the HD Dealer Show and he said he liked the red/black best (I asked him even "before I told him I was going w/ the red/black). I guess color preference is a personal thing as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He assured me I wouldn't regret my color choice and he said the new mufflers, even with the catalyst, sound pretty dang good for stock, he said they sound about like the screamin eagle slip ons. He said HD was very quiet about the Stage I & II for '07 (guess the EPA has them skeered!)

You know my mama always said... "If ya don't have anythin' nice to say, don't say anythin' at all."  but I just can't hold back on this one...  

I'm really disappointed in the MOCO, it looks like they cheapened the look of the CUSE... I like the '06 paint combos much better, they're more of a "custom" paint job.  In regard to the paint issues with the '06's and maybe that's why they went more simplified on the "07 CUSE, my response is... "they still went for a more custom look on the other '07 SE's, so why couldn't they come up with something more acceptable for the CUSE2???"  IMHO, and no offense to the new "07 buyers, I know everyone likes different but I'm glad I got mine when I did.

On a lighter side, it's about time on the 6 speed tranny, and how about the power locks on the tour pak and saddlebags, that's a pretty cool feature.  and the adjustable passenger floorboards should be a relief.

Just my 2 cents...

Personal opinion.......I like too much more the colors in '06 than in '07....more detailed, more vivid.....the tank emblem.....nicer in '06 as well.....

6-speed? the mine has it. Adjustable Floorboards? At least for my wife is not necessary, anyway is an option that you can install. Power saddlebags locks? I would prefer the manual system. GPS? The mine has Garmin in the handlebar and anyway is a module option for '06. Highway pegs? you can install.

So the last thing would be the 110 engine......7 more?......I love my '06 and I am glad that I have it!! ;D

noticed the 07's don't have the smoked windshield either. I like my smoked windshield and it is just right for my height.
