My wife is looking at getting 2012 SESG and really needs it to be lowered a little to be flat footed. She is 5'4'" and just doesn't feel confortable sitting on mine(2012 SESG). She said she would rather not change the seat out to make this work. Was wondering if anyone had lowered one with good results. Did a search and most most mods were done in 2010 when the SESG first came out and was wondering if someone had come up with something new.

A wife is 5'2" and comfortably rides an Ultra. Tried a H-D reach seat and hated it. Just sayin'. We had the bike lowered BOTH front and rear and that did the trick.
As previously mentioned, the Street Glide comes with lowered rear shocks, so you're halfway there.
Lowering the front makes all the difference... Even though it's only a little over an inch!
When you lower the front the bars drop and so does the tank and front portion of the seat allowing a much easy reach to the ground.
On top of that I'm certain that the SG seat is not as padded as the Ultra, so it should be even lower than my wife's.
The cost for parts to do the front is approx $200. but it's the labour that makes it expensive. But then again, how can you ever put a price on your wife's happiness?
I only used H-D parts to lower both the front & rear and would suggest the same for your wife's ride.
Good luck with your project and I'm confident she'll be happy. My wife absolutely loves her Ultra.
