Don't know if the CVO FX Springer will sell faster than the Fatboy, but I do know that 3 are sold here already; the GM, Sales Manager (my son) and me.  After discontinuing the FX Springer last year the prices on the clean and/or tricked up used ones have taken off.  A couple of the used one's have made me a very happy guy.  Thinking is, about 3-5 years down the road the CVO model may be worth some serious bucks to the Springer cult.


So you gonna ride it; or just set it back "just in case?"

Hmmm, so you have to wonder, $25-28K (or whatever they're going to cost) set down for three or four years to then sell for (even if it does really really well) $28-32k .  I'm thinking Brian is just trying to justify to Moma having the toy around to bar hop for a couple years cause I know sure as hell he could do better than that with his money.  ;D

it may happen as far as the Springer being a good investment.  Out of all the 03 Anniversary bikes, I have been trying to track down a 03 Silver Black Roadglide, but those are still selling above $16k.    I know those Fatboys/Heritage bikes are abundant and you can still find decent deals.

Nah...really just looking for an excuse to re-Springer myself for a few months and then flip it in the Spring left coast market...

Oh FireD00d, as a male over 40 and who has had to deal with that particular little issue let me tell you the regularity of it goes up exponentially after the incident.  You think people want you to bend over a lot just because you're 40?  Wait til you've bent over and been positive once.  Then any physician you ever see; the dentist, a shrink (psychologist even), dermatoligist, optician, the little girl in the white smock at the friuts and vegetable aisle, Dr. Phil, Dr. Ruth, The Doctors of Funk and Ryhthm and the occasional stray cat are all gonna want to stic.... well; you know.

Won't do a bit of good....standard equipment for ol' 2Lane in his tour pak is a white interns jacket, rubber gloves and night vision goggles.  Nope Dood...it ain't going to be pretty.
