Just finished installing a new set of Yaffe 12" Monkey bars. While I was at it, I also replaced my factory chrome turn signals. In my opinion the MOCO did a tremendous job with their selections and blending of black & chrome on the 2011 black diamond SESG, with one glaring exception. They placed chrome front turn signals on the black paint. Well a few weeks ago they made them available in BLACK, as they should have been in the beginning. Part #67800167, so I ordered and installed them while I was at it.
The bars were the toughest transition I've ever made to any of my bikes. And Ive replaced several sets, along with paint and sheetmetal upgrades, tires and wheels, suspension, including rear air w/ compressors. What a pain in the a$$. But in the end well worth all the aggrevation. I had a lot of help from a couple buddies of mine and Jake and Jeremy from Surdyke, who also gave me a 20% discount and free shipping on all the parts needed.
So here are a few pictures of the finished product. Oh, I also swapped the tweeters and gauges in the fairing while I was at it. I think the gauges look more at home on top with the others.
So let me know what you think.
