Jerry...thanks for that bit of information...it was relatively cooler when I put the first 1K on the bike...80 to 85, instead of 95 - 100 as it's been lately. It's kinda hard to get a real precise reading on the gauge, but the Mobil 1 seems to be running about what your observations are, best I can tell. When I was coming back from NC over the 4th, it was 100 degrees (according to some of the town's bank thermometers), two up, loaded bags and tour pak, and I never saw it drop below the points you're talking about...10 - 15 psi...and it was HOTTTTTTTTT!!!
MJZ....Dood is right on with the fluid amounts. All I can personally attest to is the Mobil 1 20/50 vtwin, and it is good stuff. Redline and Amsoil are also excellent products from what I've heard/read. I was so convinced not to use the syn3 that when they changed my fluids for the 1K and refused to put my oil in there, I just drove it home and drained the chit out and put mine in,along with a K&N filter. Warranty is not effected, though the stealer might tell you differently, as Mobil meets and EXCEEDS anything HD offers.
