Graphics like that is more of what I would have expected for the CVO line.  Really nice looking Fatfoy.  And if they can stitch some color in to this good looking seat why not do something else with the saddlebags on that CVO Road King?

Exactly!!!! That is a "custom" paint job, which should be on a "Factory Custom" scooter. I think that paint job would stand out better and draw more of a crowd then what is on the Utra's. JMHO

Took the words right out of my mouth.  Is this a HD custom paint set or a one-off by a painter?

It's one of those "1 of 250" paint sets you can get from your dealer. I think its about $5K list price though...ouch!  :o
That maybe why they didn't put in on a CVO "COST" as well as they may not have the confidence yet to produce this in "CVO QUANTITIES" (say 1500 sets or so)............ [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Also note there is another "2007 Custom Fat Boy Paint Set" in the background that also looks pretty nice.

"Ouch" is right, but also "Wow".

You're probably right.  This is what bugs me about the CVO.  Their paint jobs should be right up there with the custom paint sets, not obviously a league below.  I'd rather HD cut the CVO quantities and produce the true custom tins than make more of something less special.

But...it's all about sales, I guess.  Who can blame them

I don't think that is "just" a custom paintjob.  I believe HD is offering this as a custom painted "stretched" tank.  Check the description on the HD website.  If I'm wrong....sorry.  I too believe the paint on the 07 should be more "eye-catching"...glad I got the 06!  Believe me...I'm bad about buyer's remorse, but I'm ok with my 06.

Did everyone realize that both the bikes in the photo are 2007 FD with stretched tanks???

Anyone have more picks of these bikes from the show?

Stock Harley...just seems someone accidently bumped into the floorboard and has knocked it upward causing the unusual appearence in the photo........ [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Obviuously I am a bit biased because I pick up my 07 B/O CUSE Monday morning but I would not be so quick to criticize the paint jobs just because of a lack of graphics. I was a skeptic too but wait until you see one in the sunlight and then make a decision. There is nothing low cost or cheap looking about this paint.
