Looks good. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Noticed on the left (primary) side front wheel there is something round by the brake caliper couldn't make out what that is?

Yes, lovely big chunk of chrome, Fired00d  :) - it's a holder for our annual licence disc here in the UK.

Lookin' Good [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  You've got it just where you want it.

Not yet!  (But we're getting there....)  I still have saddlebag wingtips & spoilers (black), and the lighted latches - then that's it.

Looks GREAT!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I like what you have done.

Now imagine what it would look like with a chrome inner primary.

I just love the look of that silver engine though, until it gets uncleanably dirty, at which point, along comes the chrome inner!  ;)

Just don't let it get dirty. One of the best things about Harleys is that there is SO much you can do...or NOT do. The personality and tastes of the owner really have a chance to come out. If you like the silver KEEP IT. It looks great!

D00d, that would be a doo-hickey.  Here in the states they are called D00d-hickeys.

E,

In the very first photo it appears the saddle bag and guard are both out of alignment is that just an optical illusion?

Your ride is loooking pretty good.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

My suggestion: Chrome front caliper's.  8-)

The Rineharts really bring the bike to life !!!  ;)

Wish it was, Fatboy!  There is no way you can get these guards to sit parallel.....

Jim, the bike is looking good and the rear view is fine - never mind the fendertip - in clear/smoked it doesn't hardly notice.

You have the Zeppelin seat too - how do you like it?

Mine is very comfortable but I prefer the Corbin for solo work - it sits me lower - more "in" the bike y'know? but is kinda firm - the Zepp is much softer and is to keep my significant other happy...

I shoulda got the chrome fuel pipe like you when I replaced the leaky original with the later model - part number please?

I also noticed the chrome brake pad retaining screws - nice touch - again - part number please?

Some minor picks - IMHO you need chrome fork lower clamp nuts and drain plugs - easy self fit

Also what about the all chrome oil breather pipe to get rid of the rubber section - I had to do that when I put my V&H duals on. It's also easy to fit yourself.

Can we spend your money here or what?

I had the same nostalgia guard rails on my Road King to match the detachable rack and struggled to get them parallel to the bottom of the bags but managed eventually - I had to "adjust" (bend them forward a bit - I think) the rear crash bars such that the nostalgias could sit lower (or was it higher) on them and thus lie in line with the bags.

Anyway - nice one mate - well done!

If you are around at the end of August we will be in Aviemore and could easily call by to say hello

Cheers

Dave

That *&""(!! socket - where it should have been to begin with!

I like that a lot. Did you do that, or the Dealer, or was it delivered that way? Never have liked the stock location, too hard to find whem your on the bike.

Well, then you have 2 options. FIrst, an d my favorite is CHROME  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
However if you really love the silver, there are MANY folks (including me) that changed the silver to chrome before they even took delivery of the bike. That is to say there are many silver pieces out there just wating for a good home.

No I did it.  Wouldn't trust the dealer to be drilling holes in my bike!  :)  It is easy to do though, and the Mrs loves it. No scratched saddlebag lid either!  ;D

But I can't take the credit as the pathfinder on this though, the man brave enough to drill the first hole was GOLFHOG103 - see his instructions at http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1139687472;start=all reply #39.  I just tried to line my effort up a little more precisely.
