I have a fully enclosed trailer 5 1/2 x 12 feet and looking at building a new one.
My thoughts are 7 x 12 to carry 2 baggers.

Would there be enough room for the 2 having internal fenders.
I want to keep the wheels inside the trailer line so the fenders are not seen.

Ideas welcome and mud maps or plans welcome as well.

You might need to split the difference. Having them both inside seems like it would reduce you between the fender distance to 5' or so. Doing a split which is pretty common, should take you to 6' between the fenders. Of course I have nothing to measure so I could be all wet.

I have a 8' wide x 16 long with the wheels inside. Two baggers will go up front with one in the center @ back. At the front the fairings are about 6" off the outside trailer wall with 10" between the fairings in the middle. That being said I would not go with any less than 7' 6" if I wanted to keep the wheel wells inside the trailer. You want to be able to acess your straps and tie downs. Just my opinion.

I have a 7X12 v-nose with outside fenders and I have to stagger 2 baggers. Inside wheelwells will really cramp you. You will need. at the least, some good fromt wheel chocks that let you get off and leave the bike standing upright so you can tie it down. You won't have room to use the side stand. There are threads about front wheel chocks with lots of info. I have two trailers and use both types. They both work well. Maybe look for an 8X12. Give you a lot more room to work around the bikes. I do like the low profile V-nose trailer.

Tompen is right on. I have a 7x12 and have to stagger to get 2 baggers in. I also remove the inside bags to make tiedown easier. My fenders are on the outside. I have always wondered how a modified snowmobile trailer would work. Wheels under gives plenty of room, but how stable do they feel to tow?

A part of my 15 trips to Sturgis that was a constant....  The closer we got, the more trucks/trailers we would see on the side of the road.  And a good percentage of the trailers were snowmobile trailers hauling multiple baggers, sitting on a jack with one of the small trailer wheels missing.  Long trips hauling significant weight on small diameter wheels makes havoc on wheel bearings...

Red Ben59 has it.  My 8.5' wide with internal fenders just clears the 2 baggers.  No room to lean over and must use wheeldocks.  Make it as wide as you are comfortable.  You can't have too much room.

trailers can be 8.5 ft wide as long as the mirrors can see by it. tiny tires dont last.

best is to be able to just ride and not bother with the trailer
