Sorry, I quess I didn't say much about the trip. It was last July, when the fires were so bad. 110 degrees between the North & South rim. Still had a great time, waited to long to post!

Yep blew right on through Oklahoma without even stopping. Could it have been the long flat straight roads with the 115 degree temps for most of the summer.
