Have the same trouble on both 08 ultra classic an 2011 COV. TOUR.GLIDE ULTRA 08 has 16000 an. 11 has. 1000 miles I notice that the. Cross shaft it tight on both an tighter when hot. Just figured they are.not. broke in yet. Both. Have been like this since I drove them off the lot. Been riding 55 plus years from cusman eagles to the top of the line CVO. USED BOTH syn 3 an currently formula x. Going to try Marvel mystery oil next. Worked in the older HDs. Dam the touch phones an big fingers.

Mitch,

I am a big fan of using Marvel Mystery Oil for various jobs,  but not too sure it would assist in this situation.   I would assume you're planning to add a small amount to the transmission oil.  I use Redline heavy duty in the trans,  about the best stuff out there.  Still have the occassional shift problem.

Let us know if some MMO helps your situation.
