You look like the proud parents of a new scoot. My wife said I used to be tall dark and handsome. Now I'm tall & when its dark.... I'm handsome.
I tell her beauty is only a light switch away. THE MUFFMAN
I'll have to remember the light switch line.
I see you're from southern Ontario. I grew up in Michigan and only in '02 moved away to St. Louis MO. For the company I worked for there, I used to take frequent trips to the Toronto area and I may have gone near you from time to time. I did the Blue Water bridge, never the Windsor bridge.
I know you don't have the longest riding season up there. Here in St. Louis area, I know that I picked up at least a few more months of riding weather. It's not unusual to have days throughout the winter that it gets up in the 50's and 60's. In February last year we had a Monday in the 70's and I took Tuesday off on vacation to ride. That day it was still in the 70's and my buddy and I got in about 250 miles of fun times. His '03 SE Deuce was in for its 10k mile service so all he had was Black Betty. This is a springer front ended hardtail. His back was killing him for over a week after that. It doesn't have a spring seat, just the very poorly padded seat that was made for looks and not riding.

This is the picture thread, so enjoy the pictures. He was at a show last weekend and won Best of Show with it. It was Vet's day show and the P-51 theme of the bike probably didn't hurt his chances any.
The seat lets you only touch in the front and the back of the seat. Let me tell you guys, that is NOT the place you want to be resting your body parts on. I hadn't had my SERK very long and I twisted his arm, not too hard, to switch bikes for about 50 miles. At the end of the 50 miles even a tar groove across the road gave me shivers just before I would hit them.
My brother still lives in Clare MI which is just about dead center of the lower peninsula. We go up there for Christmas every year to get my "home" fix for the year.
Yup, the light switch can do wonders for a persons looks. Maybe I'll put a dimmer in so I can still see beautiful bride, but I'll take off her glasses first.
Hope your winter is a mild one this year.
Later dudes and dudettes.
