Bluetooth and a few other of it's bells and whistles make it at least interesting in concept.  Wait to see what its screen looks like and how intuitive its software is when actually deployed then see what street prices actually are.  Hope it's as good as it could be.

Cool it may be (we really don't know yet after all).  But does anyone else wonder where they came up with the stupid name?

Zumo?

Better than Nuvi Don,  :o which is another model they make.  I guess they should have spelled it Zoomo!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I really hate to bring the bad news,  but I have had the Garmin I que (a GPS in a palm pilot amde by garmin) for yers and I'm really starting to hate it! I can't up date my maps and it requires EXACT knolledge of where your going for evample North South East West, or it will take you to the wrong place I promise!!  and don't think I don't know how to use mine I've had it for over 3years!!!    Also I have had to replace the battery almost yearly.

Hey! Bill
Just make sure you have it in time for Canada next year and when you ship your bike out here, I can follow you? For me Not yet when they come out with the model that not only does what this will do but it also takes over the bike and drives you there. [smiley=nervous.gif]

P.S. My bandana head said to say hello to your bandana head! [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Zoomo?  Maybe, it's just a weird name.  I kept thinking Zoomie but then realized AF flyboys would think they were being ridiculed.  Then thought maybe Garmin was trying to recognize an Admiral and just forgot how to spell his name.  But that didn't seem right either.  In the end I think they just picked a stupid name for no particular reason.....  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  I mean, really, if it's ostensibly tailored to the motorcyle market why not something both appealing an obvious like "OpenRoadGPS" or "Garmin Rider"?

The name isn't so stupid as to make me no longer interested in the product (though some manufacturer's have crossed that line before).  But it's still stupid.

Can't find any indication that there is an audio out jack...but there may be one... I just can't find any reference to it...maybe they expect riders to use only the bluetooth...

Bill, perhaps it'll show up when accessories get published.  Might exist in a combination audio/power cable like the 26/27/28XX units have.
