Having cat removed and Fullsac 2.25 baffles installed
« on: April 02, 2012, 09:42:34 AM »

I just heard from my buddy who is removing the cat and installing Fullsac 2.25 baffles on my scooter.  He baselined my bike at 83 horsepower and 100 foot/pounds of torque.  He will be tuning the new setup with the SERT.  I'll post the dyno sheets when he is finished.

Let us know if you get about 105/110 or so when you are finished.
That's about the range we get here with what you have.
The real test is when you get it out on the road and see how you like it!!!

Here's a 2011 CVO stage I X Pipe with 2.0 muffler cores that I finished an hour ago. With a non cat OEM headpipe you should see mid 90s.

If the dyno is set on SAE you will be around 2-4 lower on both sides than STD.  STD aways shows higher # and what gear the pull was done in, TQ # will be 5-7 more in 5th than 4th alot to take in when looking at dyno sheets.  My tuner done both  4th was 107 HP & 114 TQ, 5th was 114 HP & 123 TQ SAE.   CVO110 - 255 cams 4th gear pull around 92 hp 108 TQ give or take a little.

Ya! This thing was a serious Mule coming off the bottom. I don't think I have ever seen a 110 cross 100ft that early.

Finally getting around to posting my dyno results.  Happy with the results, I can really feel the difference in acceleration and a noticeable lack of heat on my right leg.

I'm sure you bike runs great, but run 001? I'm quesing there was no tuning just a single pull.
Your bike wasn't even close to operating temp. With out tuning you have about 5 more HP and TQ at least just warming her up.

I've seen a lot of dyno sheets like that, run 001 before, run 020 or more for "after".  In some cases it's fraudulent, like when a tuner purposely doesn't get the bike up to full operating temp (everything, not just the engine) before making the before run because he knows it will show a lower number, thus making his "after" result even more impressive.  But if he did in fact run the bike on the drum several times before actually making a recorded run, I suppose he could show run 001 and still be legit. :nixweiss:  Anyhow, the before numbers on that chart do seem to be as good or actually better than most bone stock 110 charts I've seen, by about 5 on both scales.  What have you been seeing on the latest models?

Jerry

btw, did you notice that the stock run (001, page one) was SAE, but the final run (008, page 2) was STD?  Another way tuner's make their results look more impressive.
