The SESG doesn't have a removable bags on the 3 pouch.  Wasn't an issue until I added the fairing mount for the gps. Not like Harley was going to refund me the $'s.

First tried notching out the metal under the 3rd pouch, but the pouch was still interfering.  Ended up cutting off the 3rd pouch, made sure the edges weren't sharp, and repositioned the rubber feet.

When the GPS is on the bike, looks like a custom set up.  I have gotten several inquiries on what I did.

May not be ideal for others, but works for me.

HD does offer a twin pouch. I don't have the gps, so I just centered it on top of the inner fairing.  I keep what I need in those.  Of you slide it over, I'm sure your gps would fit  I have the new hd 3 compartment pouch on my 04. It seems to leave marks on the corners where it meets the fairing. Not sure I'd buy this one again  :nixweiss:

Hey JR and all who've installed the Fox Leather Heavy Duty windshield bag

http://www.foxcreekleather.com/107-windshield-bags/679-heavy-duty-dash-bag.

When I installed mine today I notice a big gap between the inner and outer faring.  That's even with getting the windshield moulding screws really tight. You could easily drop a penny, probably two in the gap.  It definitely will leak a lot of water, which I'm not thrilled about, so I took it off.  Has anyone noticed this, or have a solution?  Is this a concern for anyone else?

you were smart to remove it.  i saw Hog Tunes makes a nice one that sandwiches between the inner and outer.. its  even hog-pod friendly.. :2vrolijk_21:
