Don, I guess I wasn't clear enough.  If you have OUR filter and the earlier steel studs (easily identified by the hex socket in the end of the stud), I will ship the stainless replacements no charge.  Please provide an invoice number or some proof of purchase when you call.  Contact Bill Lam at 410.379.0909 x107.

Even better.  Thanks again for the exceptional support and service.  I do have your filter kit.  But I've got to be ordering some new parts relatively soon so will just wait and get it all shipped together.

Just so everyone knows, I have the same problem - I PM'd JK and he is sending me a replacement set - Outstanding service.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Interesting problem. I guess I will have to keep an eye on the AC cover ( have SE roll your own with K&N filter). I wonder if changing the AC cover really would provide better contact and support?

Hi everyone, my replacement mounts arrived today - no charge, even for the shipping - which came to $16.75 to get to me in UK.

I am in awe and will certainly be using Zippers in the future

Big Thanks to JK

Cheers

Had the same problem with the Screamin Eagle set up that was on the blue motor. That motor had the HTCC heads. Would carry spares with me for when they fell out. Finally did the old farm trick and drill a small hole in ;the head to run a safety wire through it to keep them from backing out.
New motor has the Arlen Ness breather and the dealer used the bolts that came with the kit. Only 2500 miles on the new motor. Bolts still tight. After Maggie Valley might be a different story though.

Did the guys that had studs break install them with a torque wrench? We believe torque wrenches are used to prevent over tighening. Most people tend to over tighten everything.

Don't know Mikey. Dealer installed when bike was delivered. They did "make it right" by replacing the whole set up.
