Yeah, the road king and ultra paint looks to much a like. Looks like it may even be the same color.

Thats because they are the same color,.. those two are the anniversary CVO editions.  Look at the tank badge.

That Breakout is Fugly. Why is it that Harley is always a few years behind on the styling?

Jeez, the slammed Big Dog wantabe look died out about 3 years ago for Petes sake.

Don't they plan 3 yrs. out?  And remember, they have to use up all those left-over parts like that flipped-up willie-G rear fender....it would cut into the profit margin to actually produce all new parts.  spyder

Well, if that's the case, they should be starting work on the 'Zombie' themed model for 2016 any day now.   Next year we should probably expect arrival of that 300 rear tire.   

Seriously, you'd think they'd have the ability to maintain some insight into the pulse of the industry and have capacity to make changes along the way as appropriate when there are significant shifts in the market.

The more I look at that road king, the more I want one. I'm digging the anniversary scheme. Curious on the 'non' anniversary model in the road king.

While I agree with you this point, let's consider MoCo's thought (or what I perceive to be their thoughts)

 "Who cares what the public desires, We're MoCo and will build what we want and sell them all anyway. The owners that don't like the new model years will keep the ones they have and new HD buyers will be brought into the HD family.

Yeah well, they failed miserably with the Rocker as well. They sold eventually at some pretty steep discounts to get them off the floors. I'm betting this Breakout will do worse than the Dynas did a few years ago. I remember seeing those sitting around as old stock for quite a while before the dealers got some incentives to dump them. Sad to see them keep banging their heads against the wall.

From what I hear there is a CVO Road King and CVO Anni Road King.

Just don't know which one to get.  My FLHRC is getting boring.

Reading the article in Easyriders that the pictures were taken from states the following...

"All models except the Breakout also feature a 110 Anniversary Edition that includes the 110th Anniversary cloisonne on the tan(k) console insert as well as an anniversary tank medalloin."
